This website has been designed in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as defined by the W3C Consortium.

Current compliance status

The website https://www.almar.it/ is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI EN 301549:2018 standard (WCAG 2.1) due to the non-compliance issues listed below:

• All icons (cart, account, etc.) and news images share the same alt text even though they link to different pages.
• Texts and buttons have insufficient contrast compared to the background.
• The search button does not have an accessible label or name.
• Input fields (search and newsletter subscription) do not have an accessible name.
• The keyboard focus is not visible for most elements on the home page.
• The carousel is not properly managed: slides cannot be changed via keyboard, content is hidden, and links are inaccessible.
• The product category menu cannot be opened or navigated using the keyboard.

Preparation of the accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 10/10/2025, based on an evaluation carried out by a third party.
The analysis combines manual testing and semi-automated checks using tools recommended by the W3C, which apply techniques conforming to WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA criteria.
