The best summer alternatives to classic coffee to serve in your restaurant

It is a now confirmed fact: Italians never give up coffee, even more so if it is made to perfection. It’s always an excellent excuse to socialize or recharge your batteries. In summer, however, the risk is that it will make you feel the heat even more.
So we go in search of a cold alternative. And there are so many versions. Let’s discover some of them together.
Do you want?
Coffee alternatives to offer to your customers
As we suggested just a little while ago, people certainly don’t give up their desire for coffee during the summer period. And since temperatures are increasingly higher during this season, they start looking for valid alternatives. Which?
Iced coffee shaken
Very common throughout Italy, it is coffee that becomes an aperitif. The espresso is shaken with ice, liquid sugar and perhaps some alcoholic drinks. Do you like it quite sweet? Add some vanilla. If you prefer a bitter taste, ask for an orange or lemon peel. It is served in triangular cocktail glasses. The best part? The foam with the alcoholic flavor!
Coffee with granita
Coffee with granita is a real delicacy that goes beyond simple summer iced coffee. But how can you not mention it among the proposals for the summer? Many bars, especially in the South, routinely include it in the menu. For those who love to indulge in culinary temptations, the version with a splash of fresh whipped cream will be a real delicacy. The original Sicilian version has a little sugar to highlight the bitterness of the coffee.
Cold brew
Cold brew is a coffee extraction method that requires 7-8 hours. The water filters the coffee drop by drop, 8 approximately every 10 seconds. The drops pass through the ground coffee powder capturing its properties. The result is a fresh and aromatic coffee drink. There are two advantages: it can be prepared in large quantities at a time and it can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days.
Coffee on ice
Iced coffee is the oldest version of iced coffee. It seems to have Spanish origins. It was brought to Salento way back in the 17th century. The coffee is made, sugared, then poured into the typical flared glass with a few ice cubes. Never tried? Drink it quickly before it gets watered down.
And the Cold Cream? Yes but that Almar
Among the various alternatives, a highly requested product is the cold cream with an intense and fresh flavour, to be enjoyed with a spoon while cooling off from the hot sun’s rays.
And for this very reason we want to recommend our coffee cremino, a delicious cold cream preparation, to be the envy of the competition.
And why ours?
Well first of all because we make our products an Italian excellence. And then for its numerous advantages.
For example?
- It guarantees the maximum taste of 100% arabica coffee;
- High creaminess;
- Easy to prepare (all you need is a sachet of preparation, 600 ml of water and a cold cream machine);
Furthermore, it is designed for all customers who have particular needs. In fact it lacks:
- Gluten, lactose, GMO, preservatives free.
- Designed for vegans in its “veggy cremino” version.
A product that sells itself and will make it your favorite place.
